Which bird gives birth to babies directly and feeds them with its milk?
No bird feeds their young milk.When you see a dove or pidgin feeding their babes they are regurgitating.
All birds regurgitate for their babes except for a few species that leave their young in other birds nests.
The only thing that closely resembles a bird that feeds its young milk and lays eggs are platypuses which are actually mammals.
Also bats are not birds they are mammals that do not lay eggs as they are a type of marsupial.
Some birds DO feed their babies crop milk. Doves do that. I witnessed it many times with my own birds. The mother or father bird opens their mouth, the baby sticks their mouth in the parents mouth and the parents throw up the milk. This happens for the first few weeks of life.
